Partnership with CleanHub & PRLS

NTTI has partnered with CleanHub and Plastic Recovery: Land and Sea (PRLS) to expand their successful waste collection and recycling program to the North Sulawesi archipelago in the heart of the Coral Triangle. The program aims to stop plastic pollution at the source by introducing a collection and recycling model in small island communities that lack waste management infrastructure. By tapping into innovative plastic recycling supply chains, the initiative will increase the amount of plastic collected that can be further processed and create new revenue streams that can then be reinvested into the program to create an economically viable solution. Stakeholder involvement in measures to prevent single-use plastic waste and optimise waste separation at source will be crucial for scaling up the project on the islands.
