Our partner resort network continues to grow

Resorts across North Sulawesi have started welcoming guests from all over the world again. Visitors who want to enjoy the lush tropical landscape and stunning coral reefs travel from all over the world to spend a week or three in paradise. These tourists are often interested in diving and marine biodiversity, and we are giving resorts the tools they need to preserve the environment that is the foundation of tourism in the region. 

The revenue that tourism brings to North Sulawesi is fundamental to our circular economy model. By reinvesting some of this value back into our waste management infrastructure, we are bringing our model to some of the most remote communities in the region. Currently, island resorts either burn their waste or sort and store it and pay for expensive ad hoc transport to recycling/landfill facilities on the mainland. By joining our partnership program, they gain access to a fully traceable waste management solution. The partnership provides resorts with a tangible solution and also allows NTTI to expand our geographical coverage.
