Public talk about marine debris

As part of a fasting campaign of the Holy Cross community Dülmen Andrea Werner gave a talk about marine debris in front of about 60 interested listeners. At the beginning, the speaker informed about garbage formation, various entry routes into waters, the whereabouts of the debris in the water and the hazards of marine garbage. In the second part, the listeners were given a wide variety of options for taking action against the garbage. In the subsequent discussion questions from the audience were answered and a controversial and constructive dialogue developed about the possibilities consumers have and the role of the individual within the topic of marine debris.
