Elsa Girard and the sponges

Elsa Girard was a student researcher at CoralEye in Indonesia and AQUEIS scholarship holder. At the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich she successfully finished her master thesis titled: Exploring the diversity of foreign particles in Indonesian marine sponges: potential bioindicators for microplastic pollution?

She also managed to publish her data in a peer-reviewed journal in October 2020 which definitely is a very important step in her scientific career – congratulations!
