Clean-up, sorting and recycling.

The pandemic is not stopping plastic pollution, and neither are efforts to stop it from getting further out into the oceans. Together with local youth, a lot of washed-up plastic was collected and sorted. We want to get an insight into whether the pandemic has changed the composition of the waste or not.

So far, no difference has been recorded. The sorted plastic as well as the residual waste was brought to the mainland as before and handed over to our partner Amelia.
